What this program is

ActBook is a booking platform for live-entertainment providers (performers, entertainers and entertainment companies). When you book an event through an ActBook booking form, we send you text messages about that specific booking on behalf of the provider you booked. These are transactional booking messages. We do not send marketing or promotional texts.

How you opt in

Opt-in happens on the ActBook booking form, at the point where you enter your mobile number. Directly below the phone field there is an unchecked consent checkbox. It is not pre-checked, and it is not required to submit your booking — so consent is affirmative and separate from the transaction. This is exactly how it appears:

Customers who book by phone or email instead provide their mobile number to coordinate their event and give consent verbally at that time. There is no text-keyword opt-in for this program.

What we send

Day-of arrival & directions — on the morning of your event, confirming arrival and setup time.
Replies about your booking — you can reply to any message and the provider answers you directly.
A thank-you after your event — a short follow-up related to your booking.

Hi Dana, it's Cirque Amongus — we're all set for today at Lincoln Elementary! We'll arrive around 9:00am to set up for the 10:00am start. Any questions, just reply to this text. Reply STOP to opt out.

Your information
